Dresses Dresses Dresses

The best way, I think, to dress for summer when it is so hot you cannot stand it, is to just throw on a dress, add a great necklace or bracelet, put on some lipstick and walk out the door.

I have some of my favorite dresses for summer in the store RIGHT NOW! Transparente’s black, white, or black and gray two pocket dress that can be adjusted in the back, is great because you can also make it shorter or longer based on the ties at the bottom. It is so good looking, perfect for work or out for dinner and it is light weight. I also have a seersucker dress from Niche that fits really well and the bottom is a little fuller so it falls perfectly. AND Niche sent me more of the striped cotton dress that went out the door the first time so I now have it in gray and white stripe. It has a round neck and just a little detail at the lower sides. I have pictures at the bottom.

I WILL be open tonight until 7 since I have a dinner downtown so if anyone wants to come by I will be here.

I know this is so last minute but next Tuesday night, the 24th of May, I am having a jewelry show with all the new jewelry from all my local jewelers and all my new summer rubber jewelry from Kathleen Tucci, formerly My Sister’s Art and my new line from Columbia. Stop by until 7:30 for jewels, fun, and champagne. Ten percent of the sales go to benefit Jubilee Jumpstart, the 24/7 daycare for mothers who need our help.

All of these emails go onto my blog page as well as some extra things I put on there whenever I get a chance. So go there once in awhile especially if something newsworthy comes along, not on a Monday.

Here is my big question based on what happened with the head of the IMF this weekend: WHAT IS WITH THESE GUYS??? Do we hear of women CEOs or women governors, or women in the Congress or in the Senate having affairs or walking around Appalachia when they are really in South America? All the more reason we need to get behind qualified women for office because these guys have way too much time on their hands. AND as a taxpayer, why are we paying over 3,000 dollars a night for this man to stay in a hotel? I mean REALLY!!!!

Have a great week. Hope to see you tonight if you are around!
