Book Signing and SUMMER SALE

On Wednesday, June 22, 2011 Mary Tabor will be here with signed copies of her new book, a memoir about her life and marriage AND since it is the time of the summer that everyone is here before dispersing for vacation, I thought it would be fun to get together with a dinner from Tosca! Come around 6:00 and meet Mary and catch up with each other. It has been awhile since we went to the movies. As I said last week, Mary’s book, (RE) MAKING LOVE, A Sex After 60 Story is really a fun summer read on the plane or the beach and I think it is good to support women in their endeavors as you have supported the store! PLEASE RSVP because you know I do not want to run out of food and champagne!

SUMMER SALE! It is time for you to come in and get all the things you were thinking about and did not get just in time for summer to really start. Lots of great pieces are still here and prices have been slashed on selected jewelry, shoes, handbags, clothing and accessories from 20-50% off. You CAN call me if you cannot come in and are ready to charge out whatever it is that you did not get. I cannot hold anything as it is a sale but I understand that some people are out of town and I want to make it as easy as I can for you to purchase what you want. (I did not say NEED.)

COMFY TEES! Believe it or NOT, fall will start to come in to the store in about two weeks including the new Kim Sun and the Comfy tee shirts. The tees only come in black, white, mud, and gray. I ordered a billion of them and many of you have requested that I hold certain colors and sizes for you. Please do me a huge favor and email me so that I have a concise list so that you have them. I can hold them or ship them out to you so let me know.

FACEBOOK: For those of you who are on my fan page on Facebook please note that FB, in its infinite wisdom, has created “company” pages from the fan pages. I am not using this page but cannot get rid of it. If you are going to post a comment, be SURE you are on the original fan page which you will be able to tell by the amount of posts and also by the number of fans. If you are not on it then you are not getting all the news in real time, so hit the Become a Fan button on the right corner of this page and see all the news from U7 a few times a week or when I get around to posting.

A lot of you have met Katy, my daughter, and she will be in the store on Friday and Monday as she is coming in for the weekend. She has added some new lines to the company she has started which include the beautiful candles from Linnea Lights, and is bringing some samples of the handbags and papers she is representing. I have not seen them so I cannot tell you whether we are going to like them or not but she loves seeing all of you so if you are around come in and say hi!
