So sorry to send an extra email this week, but Sandy has affected our trunk show for Friday and Saturday. Anarkh’s studio is in Brooklyn and an electric gate is the only way in. Unfortutunately, they have no electricity so they will not be able to ship the clothes and come to U7 this weekend. I hope that their offices and studios are safe and not under water. As inconvenient as the last few days have been here, so many of my friends have lost their stores and studios completely and some are so flooded that they may not open for weeks. My heart really goes out to them because you never make these things up. Hopefully we will have the show later in the month when they get back to work.
JESSE WALKER WILL BE HERE!He made it home from New York late last night and his pieces are really so wonderful that I do not want to disappoint the many people that were looking forward to seeing him. IF you have a dress or jacket that you want him to make you a necklace for, bring it in and he will work with you. That is the beauty of having a local designer. He has worked so hard to do this show that I really want to support his efforts! All day Friday and from 12-5 on Saturday are the hours and hopefully you will have time to stop by.
On a happier note, many of you have asked for pictures of the little grandchildren and even though you know I would post pictures of them every week, I have tried to show restraint. But our little trick or treaters made me smile and I hope they will make you smile too!
