Favorite Inaugural moment: when the President turned around and looked back to see the crowd after his speech. He knew it would not come again and just wanted to savor the moment. I thought it was very touching. Funniest Inaugural moment: Malia photobombing Sasha as she tried to take pictures of her parents kissing in the viewing stand. Best roll of the eyes: Michelle Obama when, according to a lip reading specialist, John Boehner teased the President about his wife not letting him smoke a cigarette. Best introduction by a husband: the President introducing Michelle at the Inaugural Ball. And then practically making out with her while they danced. Best party no one I know got invited to: White House after party that allegedly went until 3 in the morning. Best outfit: Michelle Obama’s day ensemble. THAT COAT! Fit like a glove. Luckiest designer alive: Jason Wu who reportedly was in shock. Best country ever: the United States of America for reminding us every four years that we live in a country where we have the peaceful transfer of power. Sometimes every eight years.
Oh, yes, the COMFY AND SUN KIM ARE HERE. I got lots of their fabulous tee shirts that they are FINALLY making in colors. So we have white, black, gray, navy, red, black and white stripe, and kiwi. Since it came in yesterday late in the afternoon, those people lucky enough to walk in have already received some of the pieces so do not wait as you know it walks out the door. Also, AMAZING new pieces from RAY HARRIS, especially some scarves that are double colored. GORGEOUS tops and some new skirts and dresses that you will love. Yes, Katy, your skirt has arrived.
We are just a week away from the Planet store opening. I am so excited to have the whole line as it is really just the most wearable line around and mixes in with every other line we have. Should we do a party? Weigh in on that. Or, we could just simply open.
