Lots of gifts are here for your Secret Santas and the $20 bracelets have been great. In fact we are almost out of them. So are the Linneas Lights candles and the touch screen gloves that are perfect for swiping your cell phones and keeping your hands warm at the same time. It is such a pain to take your gloves off to get a call or email someone. Life is so hard sometimes.
Don’t forget to mark your calendar for January 8th and 9th when we will have our spring PLANET TRUNK SHOW! I am still waiting for a date from Ray Harris but for all of you that want special dresses he will be here some time in February.
My new Trippen shoes FINALLY came yesterday so of course I am wearing them today. Here they are but I forgot to see what they are called and I already threw the box away. Katy, your boots are on the way!

Here is our OTHER WORLD NEWS: we are opening a THIRD space in our building where the shoeshine stand used to be. It is going to be a pop up store that will change each month or maybe even more, so it is going to be a lot of fun. I will let you know each time we change it so you won’t miss out on anything. Some of the things we have on the wish list is to have emerging DC designers here so we can see what is happening and at the same time we can give these new designers a way to test the market. (Elaine Mensah, get on this!) Two months a year we will have all of our sale items in the store and we might bring back our small art fair for a longer time instead of one night. If you have any other suggestions feel free to let me know. Should be very exciting. We are going to call it Upstairs on 7th TOO and we are working away to open it by the 2nd of January when we re open after vacation.
We finally got to see a movie and saw The Theory of Everything. It was EXCELLENT. I loved it.
Don’t forget we are open every day through the 24th of December INCLUDING Saturdays and SUNDAYS from 12-5. Then we are closing between Christmas and New Year’s as we always do.
