Pay no attention to this cold, ice and snow. Spring is in the stores!!
I have to admit it has been hard getting into the swing of things and then all the Planet, Sun Kim, Jason and Comfy came today and it seems that spring is here IF you still want to wear gray and black. Just joking, there is so much color in Planet that we even have YELLOW!! We also got Sophie Finzi sweaters in green, red and gray and they are fabulous. Totally covered up except for the shoulders which you know are the last parts of your body to go! And long enough to use with leggings or a great pair of white pants, although black will have to do until Memorial Day.
For those of you who cannot make it on Thursday or Friday to the Planet show, I will tell you that our order of Planet has arrived and we do have the samples for the Planet show in the store. You are more than welcome to come down early to see everything and order the pieces we either don’t have in the store yet or we are not getting. This is your chance to see every piece of the entire line. It is really fabulous I have to say. I love that dot tee shirt! There is also a wide leg nylon pant that is really great and that of course I forgot about. AND if you cannot come any of those days we don’t have to return the samples until Monday so if you can come between 12-5 on Saturday, you can still see them and order what you want. We have lots of pieces to buy immediately for what Leslie likes to call “immediate gratification.”
For those of you who have asked about the Anett Roestel dresses, they will be in the store in February and you will have plenty of time to order them if I didn’t get your size.
THE SALE IS ON! There are some great Ivan Grundahl and a few Rundholz pieces left as well as bits of all our lines and some great coats at 30% off. All the jewelry is 50% off and we have some good summer pieces all at 70% off in the new store.
The Annemieke pieces for spring have arrived and if you have special orders coming look for an email from me as I have put them aside. I also have a few of the late Barbara de Jounge’s safety pin necklaces if anyone wants one. Her assistant is still making them so I have some that came in today as well.
I was in New York on Sunday and got more of the Samuel Coraux and Sandrine pieces and I cannot wait to have them in the store again. We sold almost all of the pieces at Christmas time.
Wasn’t Downton Abbey great Sunday night? And did you get to tape the Good Wife? It was great too! Oh that poor Kalista. She is in big trouble now.
