Before I forget AGAIN, if you can still get tickets, go to Once, playing at The Kennedy Center. It was fabulous. The leads have been in it for over 2 years and they are so good. There are a few people from the original Broadway cast so if you didn’t see it, go. And here is a hint: before the show begins and during intermission you can go to get a drink on the stage at the play’s bar. But if you go BEFORE the show, the actors come out and play amazing Irish music and you can literally stand on the stage for it. You will not be disappointed!
We also got to go to the National Theater on Friday night to see the BFG, (Big Friendly Giant) a play that begins the new Children’s National Theater, a collaboration between the National Theater and Imagination Stage. It was terrific so if you have grandchildren five or older that is wonderful to do and it will be here until July 25th before it returns in November. 10,000 children from the DC schools are going to see it when it returns so if anyone wants to donate to that cause let me know and I will send the information. Thank you so much Tina and Mita!!
Speaking of kids, we took Dylan to “the beach” at the National Building Museum and it was so fun. She had a great time. Go early so you don’t have to stand in line very long and whatever you do, do NOT use your phone or camera while in the “pool” because if you drop it you will never see it again! That thing is DEEP!
Anyone see Trainwreck over the weekend? Let me know if it is worth seeing. We saw Mr. Holmes and it was very good.
We got in part of our order of Dress to Kill today and there are some fabulous coats as well as tops, skirts, and pants and the fabrics are amazing, I have to say I did a good job picking these fabrics for the pieces out and if you saw the show you know that is not easy! Here is a picture of the fabrics. They are darker and richer in person and gorgeous. One of them feels like velvet!
A word about coats: every designer made beautiful ones for this winter season. It was the best category I saw by far so this would be the year to buy a new coat. Long or short we have some amazing coats this fall!
Ray Harris and Veronique just came in and we are unpacking as we speak! Lots of awesome dresses and jackets from Ray and three new styles from Veronique in terry cloth!
Here is the new longer Veronique jacket. We also got long terry tunics in navy, black and oatmeal. They have high necks and they look like Norma Kamali from the 80’s. I miss those clothes.

We have lots of jewelry that is 30-50% off as well as great handbags and scarves.
