The second shipment of Rundholz is here and this is the cutest dress although it is much better in person! Ok, so maybe I am NOT Annie Leibovitz.
Annemieke has sent lots of new styles of her great latex necklaces including the felts, the multi sticks, and squares (which I know are not new) in lots of colors. We also have lots of extra neutral necklaces in both sizes AND we have LOTS of the tiny dot, my favorite one of all.
Dress to Kill sent lots of harem pants in seersucker and a dot fabric in gray as well as dot black that are so light weight you can be comfortable in the heat of our summers. We got some great dresses from them too. See the black dot on these pants? And you can reverse the jacket to a black design. See it peeking out of the bottom? I like this jacket a lot.
Get ready to be wowed by Ray Harris’ collection. He will be here on Thursday the 25th any time after one and until the last of you leave that night, all day Friday the 26th, and all day Saturday from 12-5. If anyone needs to come earlier on Friday or Saturday just let me know and we will open earlier. We don’t mind in the least. If you need a special dress, this is the designer for you. You have so many styles and colors to choose from. Every summer so many of you wear your Ray Harris dresses to your children’s weddings and it is so gratifying to hear how happy you are with them.
We got a great sweater from Ivan Grundahl in neutral, orange and navy and some white and black sweaters from Elemente Clemente.

Anyone watch the Grammy’s last night? Poor Adele, the piano was 7 seconds behind her for some weird reason and how she even got through the song is a miracle but I hear from a friend who was there that she was devastated. And how about Taylor Swift giving it to Kanye West? He has come unhinged I think.
Wasn’t it so lovely to hear Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg talk about her friendship with Justice Scalia? Too bad all of our Congressmen and women and our Senators go home every weekend and so are no longer friends. Remember when they were and they compromised? They actually got something done. It was very interesting to hear that Scalia hired a liberal law clerk each year so he could get the other side of the argument. He was brilliant. I used to see him at Tosca every once in a while and he was very animated. I didn’t agree with him on anything consequential but I had loads of respect for him. I am sad he died. The other thing I found out is that Justices receive their salary for LIFE because they don’t want anyone to stay on the Court because of money considerations in their old age. Whoever came up with that idea was really smart.
