We have just finished our first week in our new store and we can’t thank you enough for all the visits, gifts, flowers, champagne and good wishes sent our way.
It is a good thing we moved because last Monday night someone working at the Nordstrom Rack build out broke a pipe and flooded the whole lobby and our old store at 555. As of today they were still trying to dry out the carpet. Do you believe it? Talk about good luck!
We have gotten in so many lines even I have had a hard time keeping up. Our first shipment of RUNDHOLZ is in the store and so are some great pieces from DIP! He did his shrugs again and I bought them in black, gray, navy and burgundy. The jackets from DIP are fabulous. I could literally buy one of every style myself.
The rest of the Anarkh is here and we also have cool jewelry from them too.
Comfy, Sun Kim, and Jason arrived and already a bunch of it has gone out the door. What else is new?
Megan Park, Natalie Martin, and Giada Forte, three of Katy’s lines, have arrived and they are really beautiful prints, (don’t have a heart attack reading “prints”) that go with all of our other lines. You will notice that everyone is doing burgundy this year which leads me to say: burgundy is the new black!
Here are all of our lines mixed together for a great window. (Have I mentioned how happy I am that Katy likes to do all the things I don’t? Windows are right up there with things I don’t like to do!)
About our entrances to the store. The building wants us to use the main lobby entrance which is on the corner of 12th and E literally across the street from the main door of the old Barnes and Noble. So instead of being at 12th and F, we are at 12th and E a half block away from our old store. On Saturdays the building is closed so you can use the 12th and E entrance. It is easy to find as the door is underneath the American flag. It is a locked door and will have a bell but if you come over and you don’t see anyone, just call me. We might be in the back and it is a little hard to see into the store.
If you haven’t been in yet, stop in so we can show off our new store. It came out even nicer than I thought it would.
Upcoming shows: Friday, September 10th and Saturday, September 11th meet New Form Perspective designer Gail Travis and find some amazing convertible sweaters in a range of beautiful styles and colors.
Ray Harris: Thursday, September 22nd through Saturday, September 24th. He is making the pin jacket in white! I cannot wait to see it.

We are open the same hours as before but again, if you want to come in after 6 I am usually here and I can always wait, just email me and let me know you are coming over. I live five minutes from here and we don’t eat dinner until after 8. We pretend we live in Europe evidently. I can also come in early if you need me to especially on Saturdays.
