New Form Perspective Trunk Show this week!

This Friday, September 9th and Saturday, September 10th is the New Form Perspective trunk show.  These sweaters have been flying out of the store just as we thought they would.  Do not miss this opportunity to see the new fall and spring collections.  It is like watching a show as the stylist shows everyone how these pieces can be made into all kinds of styles with the coolest pin ever.  It looks like a sewing needle. A lot of the styles also have big snaps which if you have been shopping here for any time at all, you know we love. I think they are very well priced too.  They say it is going to be a cold winter so now is the time to buy the best. sweater. ever. Lots of styles. Lots of COLORS!

I can’t even begin to tell you how many gorgeous pieces have come in this week. We got Creatures of Comfort and along with Suno, Natalie Martin, and Giada Forte there are so many beautiful blouses in so many different fabrics, it is hard to choose just one. Plaids, solids, prints, bows, embroidery, ruffles, stripes, you name it we have it.  We also have some soft tees in tanks, cap sleeve, and long sleeves that are perfect for this week as they are light weight as we are supposed to have another heat wave.  Keep the whites out I say!  
 
 
Niche has arrived and Moyuru has been shipped so it should be here at the end of the week.  Kedem is starting to thin out so if there is something you want, don’t hesitate to stop in.  Dress to Kill sent some wonderful dresses and they are not all black.  We went crazy and bought gray too!
 
   
Don’t forget the Ray Harris show is the 22nd through the 24th of September for that special dress, jacket, pant, skirt.  Made to your measurements in the color you want.  And is he the nicest person ever?  I know you have not forgotten because I remind you every email plus every time you come to the store.  So I will see you there.  
 
If anyone still wants to come to Off the Rack, a conversation with Anita Dunn, moderated by Amy Henderson we had a few cancellations and can fill a few more spots.  It is the 14th of September at 6 for dinner and the conversation with Amy Henderson will start at 7. You will be able to ask questions so it should be an interesting event.  
 
 
 
If anyone wants help in “surgically” removing clothes and accessories from your closet, the clothes and accessories you have not worn in a zillion years, call Lynne Glassman and she will help you sort through it all and make arrangements to have them donated to homeless shelters. I have about 20 pairs of tickets for a screening of the new movie “The Dressmaker” starring Kate Winslet on Monday, September 19th at the Regal Gallery Place movie theater.  It starts at 7:00. You can pick the passes up at the store. It is the story of a haute couture style dressmaker who returns to her Australian home and transforms the women of the town while exacting revenge on those that did her wrong. My kind of movie!  Is there anything better than sweet revenge?  I know a few of you out there are laughing right now.  You know who you are!
