We know you are waiting for our San Lorenzo restaurant review so we will start with that! It was great. The menu is all Chef Massimo and very similar to Tosca but without the unusual tiramisu! (It’s not like he is going to forget how to cook by changing venues!). The restaurant itself is very charming with antiqued brick walls and it has space for 16 people for a private party that is in the back of the rest of the seating. Massimo has hired several familiar faces that at one time or another have worked at Tosca or Posto so it felt like old home week. Massimo comes out quite often so if you know him you will get to see him. Our little pre dinner taste was our favorite squash blossom so we were happy from beginning to end.
Speaking of food, one of our lovely customers’ son has a really good food blog that highlights medium to less expensive restaurants in DC so we thought we would send that along to you as so many people ask us for good restaurants. Rickeatsdc.com.
It is so fun at this time of year when all kinds of boxes arrive everyday filled with beautiful clothes, jewelry and accessories. Since we bought it so long ago we have completely forgotten what we bought so we have the best time opening up the deliveries. In the last few days we received our jewelry from Petra Meiren, Sandrine and Samuel Coraux.

This morning we should be getting the first pieces of our Ivan Grundahl collection which we are so happy to have back in the store. It is a line we really love and they have some wonderful styles this season. His team really did a great job of designing a collection we know he would really love.
