THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate at our holiday party with us. It was so much fun to kick off the season with you!
Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who donated time, items and funds to our project to help those in need. We are overwhelmed and so grateful for such a wonderful response from all of you. We have made up well over a hundred necessity bags that are ready for pick-up if you would like to deliver them within your community (many of them are at the front desk, but if you look in every corner of the store, you will find them there too!)
We will continue to make bags until the 14th and are currently most in need of washcloths, socks, soft snacks and toothpaste to finish the batch of bags we are working on, should you still want to donate some items. Once all of these bags are delivered, we’ll let you know what is next for the project. Thank you so much again, you really came through and it made our hearts swell. It even made the Washington Post!

There are lots of gifts as you start to need hostess gifts, co-worker gifts, and maybe some just for you, to get you through the holiday season of parties, dinners and gift exchanges.

And tons more.  FYI we HAVE sold a LOT of the nail polish!
Get out your calendars as we have so many events coming up!
The Planet trunk show is January 9th and 10th and Leslie will be here to help style all of it for us.
Off the Rack: Conversations at Upstairs on 7th will welcome George Vrandenburg, who with his late wife Trish started the UsAgainstAlzheimer’s
foundation on Tuesday, January 14th.  So many of us are dealing with a spouse, a friend, or a parent that has this dreadful disease so we thought this might be a good time to educate ourselves more. Especially those of us who forget why we went into the kitchen.
Another very important discussion we all need to have is what we need to make available in case something sudden should happen to us or someone close to you dies suddenly and you need information.  Or passwords, or insurance certificates or anything important.  We will welcome to Off the Rack: Conversations at Upstairs on 7th Robyn Wagman and Marilee Fitzgerald, owners of Estate Of Mine Organizers on Tuesday, February 25th. Prepare to get all your ducks in a row!
Don’t forget we are open this Saturday AND SUNDAY 12-5.
Thanks again for helping with our project.  We really really appreciate it.
