Upstairs on 7th: Checking in!

Hello!
We wanted to say hi, see how everyone is doing (please tell us how you are, for real,) and keep you up to date on our plans for reopening.
Mayor Bowser has currently postponed Phase 2 until 6/19 so we cannot have a full reopening of the store at this point, full being the operative word here. (See below)
We are happy to continue to FaceTime and Zoom with you. We can send out anything you want. We are allowed to have curbside pickup and here’s where it gets a little murky: you are allowed to pickup in store so you are allowed inside.  If you would like to do that just let us know and one of us will come in. We are more than happy to do this, so please let us know either by replying to this email or by using our dedicated address for appointments: U7wardrobe@gmail.com.
For those who may have missed last week’s email, we wanted to assure you that we have prepared the store for your safety and comfort. These are the guidelines we are following:
  • Masks will be required for everybody in the store by order of the governor and mayor. If you don’t have a mask, we will have masks available for sale.
  • We will be limiting the number of customers to two in the store. We recommend that you make an appointment in advance by emailing our dedicated email address: u7wardrobe@gmail.com, or if you are nearby and want to come in, please call us at 301-351-8308 in advance so that we can attempt to accommodate you.
  • For your use, we will be providing hand sanitizer at various points throughout the store. Our restroom will remain open for your hand washing (and other) needs.
  • In addition to our normal care of garments, we will steaming items after they have been tried on if they are not bought.
  • If you do not feel 100% healthy, we ask that you please reschedule your visit with us and know we would love to welcome you any time when you are feeling better. We will do the same.
  • We have continued to elevate our cleaning program, sanitizing frequently used surfaces, doorknobs, railings, etc., and we are taking other measures to make sure our store remains as clean as can be.
We hope that by implementing these measures we can substantially reduce the risks of contracting the virus while at the same time helping to make you feel comfortable shopping with us.
We have a new batch of Ray Harris Masks and there are lots of new options, denim, sequins and floral print anyone?
Denim: perfect for jeans or pj’s.
Match up all your Ray outfits or wear black!

Ray added gray to the cotton masks that are very comfortable.

Our basics
Leopard print
If we ever dress up again these will come in handy.
The floral prints
Speaking of floral prints, would you believe that Ricki showed up to the store in head to toe floral print this week? Here is photographic proof that she wears prints once a decade or so.(This is Katy writing this part, btw, so I can tell you that I took many photographs because I couldn’t get over how cute she looked.)
I have turned into my daughter!  (This is Ricki writing this part!)

Word is she is back in her Sun Kim pants, so all is right in the world again.
Fun and games:
Here are last week’s puzzle answers:

And this week’s puzzle (which Ricki says is a tough one):

We will continue to keep you posted on a full  reopening and as always, we miss you, we’re thinking of you and can’t wait to see you.
