Sometimes it is amazing to think that the world is still spinning during these odd times! But, it is and we still need to get dressed for the occasion. If there were a trend report for 2020 it would read: comfortable, light, easy, tops and dresses with no regard for what you’re wearing on the bottom. And while we still have great pants and skirts in the store and on their way for fall, we have refocused the store for the next season on the things you’ll feel happiest in teleworking, home schooling, running errands and on all of your Zooms.
We have been having SO much fun on FaceBook live. Who knew? We plan to go live every Monday and Wednesday (TODAY) at 3pm EST and we love interacting with our audience, so wave hi, comment on what you see and ask us questions. If we can’t answer while we’re live, we’ll email you to follow up. To kick off the season we are having our first Covid times Planet Trunk Show! From now until August 15th we have the full fall Planet line in store for you to order from. Most of the pieces have arrived at the Planet warehouse and they can be shipped right from there so you will not pay tax and you will have them in just days.
In beautiful fall jewel tones, there are gorgeous cotton knit sweaters, vegan leather jackets, matte jersey to skim the body and nylon in the most beautiful teal that will look gorgeous on each and every one of you.

Five people have already ordered this shrug mostly in black because it is perfect for over dresses to make them less dressy. It also comes in raisin, midnight, sienna, truffle and whiskey as shown. It is shown with the matte jersey cargo pants that are great too. We ordered them in black and in midnight.
This is our favorite sweat shirt this season. It also comes all black but it is better in the raisin and black.
This sweater is so good as far as length and we love the lagoon and black. It is also available in raisin and black and truffle and black.
This style called the jumper is great in both terry cloth AND the vegan leather. We have already sold it in silver vegan leather and it comes in black and raisin.
This is the blue that is so gorgeous. Shown here in the very popular short asymmetrical jacket we all have in one color or another. All of the nylon pieces come in black, raisin and this: lagoon.

Our store remains open Monday-Friday 11am-5pm and by appointment on Saturday. This is a flexible schedule, so should you need us to be at the store outside of these hours, please let us know and one of us will be here. We are happy to accommodate you and we are usually here before and after our set hours. Like last night and the night before until 7:30!

Ricki and Katy
This week our email is dedicated to Katy’s dog, Ivy, who this weekend went gracefully and peacefully to hang out with all of her great-grandparents. Ivy passed away with the help of a wonderful vet in our home and if you ever reach this sad kind of day and you live in the DC area consider Solace Veterinary Services because they were truly exceptional. They made one of the most awful days calm and beautiful.
Ivy was loved by everyone and was particularly popular with people who didn’t really love dogs (like Ricki who loved her and loved being her Mimi). She was a FLOR catalog cover girl, in People Magazine, a finalist for Chicago’s Best Dog (she should have won, just saying,) a world class snuggler, a perfect road warrior companion and she will be missed every day that she is up in the sky happily eating french fries.
