Hi!
We’re writing a little bit early this week to make sure everyone is ready for our Ray Harris Trunk Show on Wednesday!
Though it won’t make up for being able to visit with Ray in person, this is the next best thing until he can come spend time with us again. For those of you who live out of town this is a wonderful way for you to meet Ray “in person”!
This Wednesday, October 28th at 12pm EDT, Ray will show a special collection of wear it now pieces that we will take special orders on and a selection of one of a kind items.
Here are just a few of the pieces that he will be showing:
Here are some logistics:
To join the Zoom call you will want to download Zoom on your phone, tablet or computer (has anyone not downloaded Zoom at this point?!)
Here is the meeting # that you will want to enter after clicking on “join meeting”:
536 305 0065
The password for the meeting is: Rayzoom
(This is case sensitive, so make sure you are entering it exactly this way).
We will ask that everyone stay muted throughout the call as background noise is distracting and we want everyone to be able to hear Ray.
You will be able to put all of your questions into the chat box (which we will explain,) and Katy will ask Ray all of them during the Zoom so that you can hear the answers in real time.
When the Zoom is over you will send your orders to:
The one of a kind pieces will be filled on a first come first serve basis from this email address only, so that we can keep things organized and fair.
We’ll go over all of this again on the Zoom, the most important thing is that you are there and ready to take notes, have some fun, and get to see Ray!
In other world news, holiday gifts are starting to show up in the store. We have received lots of fun notepads, beautiful greeting cards, letter writing sets and wrapping paper. We have a big order of Christian Lacroix coming this week and a shipment of art books that make really unique gifts.
We also got the newest accessory in: mask lanyards! These hold your mask in the same way you have a chain for your readers. Who ever thought we would need such things, but since we do, they may as well be pretty!
Is anyone watching the new season of The Great British Baking Show? It’s such an enjoyable way to spend and hour and the most exciting part for us is getting to see Pru’s custom Samuel Coraux jewelry!
If you are in DC, we went to the new exhibit at the National Museum of Women in the Arts this weekend. It is a show of emerging artists working in the medium of paper and it is gorgeous. You can get timed tickets online and it is well worth the trip. Here is a little taste!
Some of our favorite memes of the week:
(This one is for you, Nancy!)
We will not be on Facebook Live today, but we will be on Facebook Live Wednesday at 3pm so if you care to spend time with us twice in one day, you can!
As always, we are happy to shop with you via FaceTime or Zoom any time. If you can’t come visit we love seeing you in your natural habitat. 😉
Our current schedule continues: we are here Monday-Friday 11-5 (but really 6-sh, just let us know,) and we are open Saturday by appointment.
Don’t forget to set an alarm for the Ray show, you won’t want to miss it!
See you there, on Facebook Live and hopefully, HERE (the most fun option being HERE!)
