Upstairs on 7th: Come Cool Off With Us!

Hi Everyone!
It is HOT! It shows no sign of cooling off, except we just got a new air conditioner, so if you need a respite from the heat and you find yourself downtown, what more of an excuse do you need to come and see us? We have cold water at the ready and though it has nothing to do with hydration, there is always champagne or prosecco chilling.
There are still treasures to be had in our summer sale all at 50% off while we await the arrival of coats and sweaters. Usually we have some in by now, but the supply chain is still a bit of a trickster and so we patiently wait along with you to see what we bought for fall, because lord knows we can’t remember.
We are expecting a big order from Reina Lee this week, so fall is coming and this will be a great start as these are easy pieces at a great price and it is always nice to have new tees and basics to start a new season of dressing (hopefully to go out lots in).
For those of you waiting for Ray Harris, while he fries in the heat that is London with no air conditioning, he is getting lots of pieces from the pleater this week so it may not be too long. He reminded me that he used to ship in July because the trunk show and our order used to be done in November. Since we did the show in May we have to be patient if possible. He is working really hard to get as many pieces to you as early as possible.
We got our midnight with black matte jersey top in from Planet. We also have it in black with a white band. It’s the perfect top for your matte jersey pants.
Pictured above is the coolest leather coat from Commes des Garcon!
We are still working on reserving a block of tickets for “SIX” so stay tuned for more news on that. We loved seeing the touring cast last week. They were all so excellent, save for the guy sitting next to Katy who thought he was in the show and joined in with off-key harmony for nearly all 80 minutes. Even he couldn’t ruin the party that is “SIX” though. Don’t hesitate to get tickets on your own as you may end up wanting to see it twice like we did!
Don’t forget to make sure your calendars are marked for our trunk show with Annemieke on August 5th and August 6th. She is sending over nearly 100 new pieces, so there will be lots of beautiful necklaces to choose from. And she made scarves!
A little restaurant news: a very overlooked with more reasonable prices and delicious food at City Center is DBGB. There is finally a chef there, Anthony
Degrecgorio, who is really talented. I mean anyone who can make brussel sprouts so delicious gains our attention. There is a new tasting menu and the service could not have been better. Manager John Baudoin has done an amazing job. They are not open for lunch but the bar is open at 3 in case you need to day drink and there is terrific bar food. Don’t get us started on the bread! The dining room opens at 5. If you haven’t been there lately don’t walk, run there!
And now for the memes!
I think we can all agree that as teenagers this final meme definitely is what our chair and/or our floor looked like!
We are here 11-5 today-Friday and 1-5 on Saturday.
Come see us and shop the sale before it really is all gone!
Have a great rest of the week and we will see you soon!
Ricki and Katy
