Upstairs on 7th: Time to Cozy Up to Fall!

Hi Everyone!

If you have been getting your last sandal and white pants days in and wearing your favorite summer dress one last time, we’re with you. It is hard to let go sometimes, isn’t it?

Sadly, but maybe for some of you, gleefully, the crisp days and chilly nights seem to be here to stay now and we have beautiful clothes for staying in, going out and being cozy in. ‘Tis the season for cozy, because let’s face it, we’re still all kind of a bunch of homebodies and if we are going out we want to feel comfortable and ahem: maybe cover up some of what we ate (several dozen banana pudding batches, boat loads of bread, popcorn and chocolate. Okay, fine, we confess it all,) over the past couple of years.

We had our Moyuru order come in last week and have great pieces left that will take you from work at home, to office, to dinner, back to your favorite spot on the couch. Here are some of our favorites: this gray dress also comes in red with black seams.

You can’t see that there are stripes on the back of the collar of the top below. These little design twists are what gives Moyuru their popularity.
The dress below also comes in black and white of course!
We also received some gorgeous sweaters from Giada Forte!
We’re expecting our Amma order any minute, so be sure to stop in to see it before it disappears as it always goes quickly! We will also get a big shipment of Tatine candles towards the end of the week, so should you need a Break Fast gift or hostess gift, they have beautiful new scents and packaging.

As always, we are happy to FaceTime and we are always the most happy when we get to see your faces and the rest of you in person.

Don’t forget to let us know if you will be joining us on Thursday, October 13th for a book signing for the new book Recovery Hardware written by one of our many accomplished customers: Gina Schaefer. If you or someone you know wants to read about starting a business and saving a community this is the book to get. It is sold everywhere so you can read it before and bring it to be signed or we will also have some on hand for signing. Dinner will start at 5:30 and you must RSVP. The book has already had a lot of positive attention and packed events. Let’s make sure to fill ours and support this local author and friend!
And now for this week’s memes!
Please note that we will be closed on Wednesday, October 5th for Yom Kippur. To all of those who celebrate we wish you a very happy and healthy New Year.

We will know the exact dates of Ray Harris’ trunk show in our next email but it is going to be somewhere in the second week of November. The minute he gets his flights we will let you know exactly because for those of you who fly in or take the train we don’t want you to have to change flights and incur charges.

We are here 11-5 Monday through Friday and 1-5 on Saturday, although we are always happy to stay late just in case you are finally back downtown and not working in your pjs. Or FaceTime us.

You can see us on our Upstairs on 7th Facebook page for our Tuesday and Friday videos of everything in the store or catch us on Instagram to see our What Would Ricki wear posts. Our handle is @upstairson7th.

Have a great rest of the week and we will see you soon!
