Upstairs on 7th: From Sweaters to Coats!

Hi Everyone!

What a difference a week makes! Just when we were all pulling out our favorite sweaters, we had to start reaching for our tried and true jackets and coats. I even put tights and boots on this morning, which means that my feet have basically said goodbye to their freedom for the next six months or so. Sorry feet!

In return, I did get to pull out a favorite puffy vest and we do have some wonderful pieces should you not be so excited by what you found. When you went to your closet this morning, after seeing the high was going to barely be in the 50’s, did you think “Oh no! I don’t have a single coat I love?” Then did you think “I better go to U7 before they are out of all the beautiful coats and jackets they have!!”

Ray Harris will be in the store on Wednesday, November 9th through Saturday, November 12th. Join us for champagne, cheese and chocolates every day as we look at all of Ray’s beautiful spring 2023 items including some fabulous cotton dresses, tops and jackets. If you have a special occasion coming soon this would be your chance to get something custom made in any of his many colors and styles. As usual we can hardly wait! We have lots of surprises for this show, including some priced to sell pieces from Ray’s archives, so you really do not want to miss this one! Don’t forget to bring any pieces you need altered.

If you come to the store by car here is an updated report about parking. They have eliminated every spot on the street both on our side and across the street unless you have a construction or contractor permit OR a designated B permit which is a permit given out by the government. With the EXCEPTION of the three spots at the corner of 13th Street which are hardly ever available. The ticket for parking on this block illegally is $25 and some people do opt for that but you can street park on 12th Street and also there are garages around us you can use as well. Including our building which you get to on 12th Street.On Saturdays it is 10 dollars to park in the lot of our old building on 11th and E.

We are here 11-5 Monday through Friday and 1-5 on Saturday, although we are always happy to stay late just in case you are finally back downtown and not working in your pjs. Or FaceTime us.
