Upstairs on 7th: Christmas and Hanukkah 2022 are almost here!

Hi Everyone!

It’s hard to believe I was in Florence Italy last weekend to celebrate Katy’s 50th birthday. Our family and 25 of her closest friends joined us for the weekend celebration and it was so much fun.

Of course we had to go to Angela Caputi’s shop to visit the famous cases of drawers and the factory where all the work is done. It was very interesting and so lovely of Angela to come in on a Sunday. We were joined by her wonderful sister and of course we had to buy more jewelry for the store. It should be here soon but we have some gorgeous pieces that are perfect for any outfit already here! They are priced really well.

Fourteen of the group including Katy went on to Rome for the rest of this week and as a surprise Katy got tickets to see the Pope this morning. My son Kenny said it was insane. Way cool.

Ray Harris was with us and we went to the Ferragamo Museum and it was so interesting. They had an exhibit on women in design, photography, politics and business. Here is a picture of a shoe lover’s dream:

There are lots of Secret Santa gifts if you need them and if you want to give someone a gift certificate we have them in any denomination and we can send them out for you. The unicorn pin’s message is “Because” and I really like that.

Another good gift to give or get is a multipurpose beautiful scarf by Ray Harris. As always we have lots of paper goods and they are perfect for stocking stuffers and hostess gifts. And we have our really fun jigsaw puzzles too.

Remember to shop small in our city. A report came out that said 130 retail stores closed last year in DC. Thankfully you all kept us in business and we cannot thank you enough.

Birthday girl have a glorious weekend in Rome and fly home safely! Everyone else come see me so I won’t be lonely!
