Upstairs on 7th: Heydari in the House, a Planet Trunk Show, & the Sale Continues

Hi Everyone!

We hope you all had a good first full week back at work, school, or wherever you found yourself trying to remember to write 2023 instead of 2022. We have been busy getting the store ready for spring and selling you lots of the new Planet colors! It seems you are all as ready for the spring as we are.

We were super thrilled when our Heydari arrived. It is a very strong collection with lots of very easy pieces for travel, dressing up and daywear. We have most of the pieces in black, but we can order them for you in white if you want a beautiful post-Memorial Day outfit (for those of you who follow those pesky rules). There are really nice pants, tops, jackets and of course dresses. This is definitely the season of the dress.
Our Planet spring/summer Planet trunk show is Wednesday, January 25th through Saturday, January 28th. We can’t wait to show you the whole line!

If you would like to get Planet tee shirts and sweaters before the trunk show, we have lots in stock in the store and we would love to see you.

Off the Rack: Conversations at Upstairs on 7th is back!

We will welcome our friend, The Reverend Dana Colley Corsello, the Canon Vicar of the National Cathedral.

Tuesday January 24th at 7pm.

We will serve a light dinner starting at 5:3pm in the store and then walk across the hall to our new conference center that the building so kindly built us this year. This way we can all spread out which feels a little bit better.

Please RSVP at u7wardrobe@gmail.com no later than January 19th so that we can make sure to order dinner for you.

We are expecting our shipment of Annemieke today or tomorrow so we will let you know on our Facebook page when they arrive!
Now for a mini version of the Golden Globes last night. It was a lot boring I thought and there were more dresses that I didn’t like than I did. Two of my favorites are below worn by Michelle Yeoh and Ana de Armas. My most favorite was Billy Porter! What a dress. How they all walk in them without falling I will never know. I loved how Brad Pitt was the running joke all night especially when Regina Hall said they had used her wrong name as she is actually Mrs. Brad Pitt! And you have to love Jennifer Coolidge. Katy said if we win the lottery she is going to buy Jennifer Coolige’s friendship. Claire Danes’ dress was my least favorite unless you like wearing bedspreads. Write back and tell us who you liked!
And now some memes from our friend Jeri
We are open from 11-5 Monday through Friday and Saturday from 1-5. See you on FaceBook Live Tuesday and Friday at 2pm and we are happy to see your smiling faces on FaceTime any time!
See you soon!
