Upstairs on 7th: It’s in the 70’s, you Pulled Out Your Coat, Right?

Hi Everyone!

When I walked out of the house this morning and it was in the 70’s, all I could think was that my little coat collection must be screaming from under the bed that it was time to get them out and banish the sundresses to the IKEA zippered case they had been languishing in all summer. Personally, I think it’s a little bit of a false alarm (by midday it was squarely in the 80’s,) but I must admit that I love admiring my coats all lined up in the closet way more than the dresses. Are your fall and winter clothes front and center and ready to go, or are you hanging on to summer for dear life? If the former, here are some things that came in this week you might want to add to the mix!
We have a lot in transit, shipping to us in the next day or so and on Monday, so by tomorrow/beginning/middle/end of next week (thank you global pandemic for the unpredictability of shipping and customs,) this store is going to be fully fall and the sale is going to be relegated to the back of the store.

We are expecting gorgeous jewel toned velvet pieces from Megan Park, the coziest, yummiest sweaters from Rundholz Collection, Dip and Black Label, the first delivery of a new line from Barcelona (it’s all black and white ladies,) a new line from South Korea that I have wanted to bring in for three seasons (it’s so beautiful, so well made, and very reasonably priced) and chiffon dresses from Natalie Martin. All of this and there is new Labo Art already here, which is pictured below for your shop at home pleasure. It looks so great with the Zilla bags we posted last week it’s as if we bought them to go together!
Our Annemieke show isn’t that far off now and we can’t wait. It isn’t just because we love her or the fact that she always brings Gouda and Stroofwafel cookies in her suitcase, either. It’s because she is bringing beautiful new pieces and the collection is full of lush colors that will keep everyone chic and cheerful during the dregs of winter which in about 10 weeks we will be complaining about in the exact same way we whine about the humidity.

Her show is on September 8th and 9th and there are some surprise pieces even Ricki doesn’t know about. How do you like that Mama?! Annemieke and I have been dreaming and scheming since February (and yes, I am THE best secret keeper, but only the good kind of secrets, so if you ever need to tell me something you are excited about, but can’t let anyone else know, I’m your person).Until September, here are a couple of photos of what we currently have in stock.
The sale is still here, but dwindling, so last call. We have it all spread out to make it seem like the store is full until we get our shipments this week and next, but we’re not fooling ourselves at this point! Items are marked down 70%+ off, 50% off of spring/summer scarves and 30% off bags and most of the gifts/stationery.
