| This year flew by and it is hard to believe that there are only THREE days left until Christmas.
Soon it will be New Year’s Eve and for us this means all kinds of new and exciting changes at Upstairs on 7th!!
First up is a new phone number. If you call during business hours and we don’t answer just leave a message. It probably means we are FaceTiming with a customer and if we answer our FT call will be disconnected. You know us by now so you know we will get back to you pronto!
If you have either of our personal phone numbers in your phone, add this number to your contacts and please use it as the primary way to reach us. Unless it’s after hours and you have a fashion emergency and we don’t answer. Then call our other phone numbers. An emergency is an emergency!

Who knew Katy knew how to create a website?? Well lucky for us she does. Now you will be able to go to our site to get everything you always get plus you can reply to our events as soon as you see them.
A word about our webmaster Ben Zapp: he has been with us since day one. He created our site and added all of our events, press, news, photos and our email every single week for the last 17 years and he is helping Katy transfer everything. He’s graciously agreed to be just a phone call away to help us should we run into any trouble at all. Ben: if you are reading this before you pop it into the blog we cannot thank you enough for everything you have done for us!
A number of you have used Ben to create sites so if you need help let us know and we will give you his number.
As you all know the other great change is that Katy will be the boss. I can honestly say she knows how to boss people extremely well because she learned from the master!
Fun fact: Taylor Swift’s boyfriend and his brother, Travis and Jason Kelce, played football at my high school! Since she is in the news so often these days I should tell you I waited for the elevator with Taylor on a Sunday at ABC Carpet a few years ago. She didn’t face forward when she got on so I didn’t say anything to her because she obviously didn’t want to be bothered and I don’t blame her. I can tell you that she is really tall and gorgeous and her skin, well no words. She literally does not have a pore it is so silky.
We have lots of great presents for the holidays and as the title says you have three more days. Our gorgeous scarves from Epice are flying out the door and of course the gloves are too. Gift wrapping books are back again and our new puzzles are really good and very challenging if I say so myself. |
