It’s that strange part of the year when it is freezing one day and warm the next in DC. You have to check the weather everyday to see if you need a coat, gloves, hat, tights, and scarf, or can you just walk out the door untethered by all of that
This is kind of like the store right now, which is to say that it doesn’t exactly know what to be. There are coats and sweaters, but also shelves and hangers waiting for summer dresses (your buyer is also ready for this to happen while sitting at this desk writing with my coat and hat on!) Yesterday I remembered a Phillip Lim dress that I bought for the store for spring and I got so excited to see all of YOU get excited for some easy, breezy, summer clothes. (PS-We’re getting Phillip Lim! And lots of other new things that are solid colors and black, but come from new designers! All of your favorites are coming too, never fear!)
Having said that, today we had a new client walk in and try on an orange trench coat by Rachel Comey and a Khaki faux fur coat by Rundholz and I realized that there are still really beautiful things here and they are all on sale and that you need to come get them before they’re gone!
