Last summer one Saturday I walked out of U7 and it was 105 degrees and that was the temperature! Add humidity to that and I swear I just burst out laughing. What is my point? My point is that right now I have cotton and gorgeous linen jackets and sweaters in the store that would not only be perfect for that weather but you will need it! I mean what else can you wear? CERTAINLY NOT BATHING SUITS! Do any of you even own one any more? When I go to see my mother in Arizona I don’t even take one with me. Maybe I could get one of those ones with a skirt that you get when you are as old as I am.
Speaking of age, yesterday was my roommate from college’s birthday and she said if she died now she would no longer be thought of as dying young. Since I will be her age in a few months that was so brutal. And yet she is STILL older than I am!!
On Wednesday the KEDEM SASSON will be in the store. Give me until noon to get it out and priced. It is one of my favorite collections this spring and I know you are going to love these fabulous black and white cotton fashions. For those of you that have special orders, they will be here waiting for you to pick up. I know what you are thinking: can I wear that black dress today!!! Alas, no.

I have been meaning to tell you about American Express Trip Insurance for two months. If you have been getting my emails for the last six months you know that my husband and I were supposed to go to Israel for the holidays. Unfortunately, my mother in law got ill and we could not go. I only got the insurance in the middle of November and we had to cancel our trip on the 5th of December. So we only had the insurance for three weeks. When we cancelled I thought for sure Amex would really fight us on it but three days after we sent in the paperwork, we received a check even though my mother in law’s doctor refused to fill out the paper work and would only give us a letter on a prescription pad which you might know you can no longer copy. What I am saying is that I would recommend Amex Travel Insurance any time and will never use another company when we plan our next big trip.
