It was so hot this past weekend that my children, ok, who are we kidding, the BABY’s flight to DC was cancelled. I was so bummed out that being the crazy grandmother I am, I got on a plane and went to Chicago for the day yesterday. Thanks to having this store I have lots of miles so I was able to do it for the 10 dollar landing fee. It was worth the time to spend a little time with that cute baby boy. I bet you thought when you saw the subject of this email you thought I meant Kate and William’s little boy. NO! I meant little Harrison. Although I was hoping for Kate and William to have a little girl so that we could send Harrison to whatever college she went to so he could meet her, and of course marry her and then I could be the grandmother to the Queen of England. How fun would that be? You would get to go to the Palace but none of the boring events they have to go to everyday. Ray Harris was kind enough to text me the second it was announced in England so we had the news ahead of the news outlets. Very fun. Glad it all went so well.

Porto came in and there are tops, skirts, a beautiful royal blue vest, and a few great dresses. They make a wonderful legging and I have them in black and also navy. These pieces are perfect for work. Dress to Kill has some good rubber jewelry, pants and of course the big pocket skirt in new fabrics. There are some beautiful new stripe shirts as well. And a great rubber sweater pin. Heydari sent their beautiful tufted dresses and they come in dark gray, silver and black. There are some jumpers as well which I love. I also got some new pearl necklaces from Couture Saboteur so if you want one they are here. He also made one in green that is fabulous!
I put more items on sale and we are finally down to 30% so if you are interested in adding a few summer pieces to beat the heat, now would be the time to come in.

PLANET got in some great pieces today. There are color block long scarves, a new twisted skirt, a flannel bomber jacket that is so soft and great that I already have to reorder them because they came in and went right out the door today!! I still have the stripe dress, just one piece in black and white, and one in the tan and white. They are sold out around the country so don’t miss it. I wear mine at least once a week and I would wear it more if I thought no one would tell!!
Movie review: I loved 20 Feet from Stardom. It makes you glad Phil Spector is in jail. Very interesting as it talks about our past as well as the future. It will make you pay attention to all those wonderful singers that stand behind the front people. They make them look good, that is for sure.
See you soon! Long live the King!!
