RAY HARRIS is coming! Just to see us! He is literally flying here from London just to do this show and as a result we will have him here for three days so you won’t have to miss him unless you are out of town. I thought we would have him come on Sunday March 9th from 12-4. We can do a champagne brunch and then he will be here for normal business hours on Monday and Tuesday, March 10th and 11th. I know there are lots of you that have weddings this summer and this is your chance to have something very custom by Ray. You can take the top of one dress and the bottom of another. You can have any skirt length and any type of sleeve in any color. He is also going to make a little group of crepe pieces that will come in an assortment of colors that will be great for work. I think it may even be washable. And those too will be measured just for you. Joining us on Sunday, March 9th will be SISSY YATES with all her beautiful jewelry. Her pieces look so great with Ray’s clothes. For those of you who live out of town and who have always wanted to visit, this would be the time. BECAUSE on the Friday before, March 7th, Andy is coming with the Kedem Sasson fall line. He just emailed me and said it is his best collection in years. Which is a good thing indeed. AND to top off all of that CAROLYN ZAPP, one of our favorite jewelry designers, will be here for the Kedem show!! She is BACK thank goodness. AND if all of that was not enough most of the spring collections will be here. So Melinda and Rosalind and Elizabeth and all of my out of towners who I never get to see other than on Skype, get on a plane or a train and come see us!
Following all of these great shows is another terrific one: Ana of Anarkh will be here on March 19th with her fall line which I cannot wait to see. She does such interesting pieces.

In the store right now is MORE Comfy, a new jacket named after ME which was a great surprise. It’s here in black or white and it’s crinkled with a big tie in front. It is great for over any dress or top. More beautiful dresses came from Ivan Grundahl and there are some hand knit sweaters in from him too. The fall catalog is here for you to see as well. He looks amazing for fall. I just love his clothes! I am expecting Porto in today and I bought a TON of it so you Porto lovers, stop in so you get your first choices.
Planet has the new canvas jacket and pea coat in black, natural or military and I have the stripe sweaters coming in for a third time since they keep selling out. The matte jersey comes in black and cement for spring and the surplus top is fantastic.
How disappointing was the Super Bowl? Not only was the game so awful but I thought other than the puppy Budweiser ad and the Doritos ads, that the ads were boring too. Thank goodness Downton Abbey was on.
Very very sad about Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Addiction is one tough thing, that is for sure. Poor us. A lot of our really good actors have left us this year too soon.
