I am thrilled to announce that Joann Freed is coming to Upstairs on 7th July 1st! She has worked at Pirjo and Saks so she knows these clothes and she not only has great taste, she is lots of fun. Which we like here! She is going to work both at Planet and here at U7 so I hope you will all stop in and meet her.
Last week a fabulous ceramics show DMV Dirt opened at Long View Gallery on 9th street. It was the best show I have seen in years. It includes Jodi Walsh and Laurel Lucaszewski, two artists that are on display here. They have offered to host a private showing just for U7 customers. If you are interested in attending I will make a date with them and we can have our own art party there. Long View Gallery is absolutely gorgeous and is open to rent for parties, special occasions as well as weddings.
I wanted to let you now that I did not buy Porto for fall because the company that owns Sun Kim and Comfy did a line out of the same fabric and it has some great styles as well as being a third of the price. And you know I like to mix it up sometimes.
Planet shipped us some more styles for fall just to get us excited so if you want a little preview you can stop in. We still have a few pieces left from spring/summer so don’t miss that tank dress. It would have been perfect for today and all this week for that matter. Shortening it is easy as it just takes a scissors. Or you can be lazy like me and just knot it at the ends! We have the great cotton shirt in white, black and stripe in the store right now!
This is the surplus top from Planet which can be had in black and in white matte jersey in sizes 1,2, or 3. We love it in black!
