Starting this Saturday we are now open every Saturday unless of course I email you and say we are not! Only a holiday or a snow storm will close us though. We will be open from 12-5 so we hope to see those of you who cannot make it down during the week at the store on Saturdays! There IS ten dollar parking in the building on the weekends if you are driving down and cannot find a space on the street!
Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. We went to the Ohio State/Navy football game and the band played Script Ohio for those of you who know what that is. I did not think I would ever see it done in person again so I was very excited to see it. They are an amazing band.
We caught up on some movies and saw Chef and The 100 Foot Journey. I liked them both a lot and not only were they good, they were very informative about what it takes to be a chef and to get a Michelin Star. I really do not enjoy cooking at all so it was sort of nice to see how much some people LOVE to cook. I do love to eat good food though! And speaking of food, Daniel Boulud’s new restaurant and Del Friscos are both opening in the next few weeks at City Center. Tosca just got remodeled and it looks beautiful and of course the food is always so great there. One of my all time favorites and conveniently next door! Nora’s has reopened after their two week vacation and I cannot wait to eat there next week when Annemieke is in town!
DO NOT miss seeing Annemieke on Wednesday September 10th and Thursday, September 11th as she has made some fabulous new pieces including one that you can wear seven different ways. Also, you can order different colors if you want something to match a dress or outfit. She is so much fun so we cannot wait to see her and welcome all of you! She will be here by noon on Wednesday and we will stay until 7 both days or as people need us to so if you want to head over after work, please do.
The Kedem Sasson is flying out the door so if you want some of it, come soon as there are just a few pieces of each style.
We got more Rundholz fitted down coats and some tops and trousers that are more like skirts. I also have a very few pairs of shoes from Rundholz. There are two pairs of size 40 and one pair of 39’s in each of the two styles. And before you get too excited they are really expensive shoes BUT they do last forever. My last pair I got I am still wearing and they are ten years old! (Before you get hysterical I got you a pair Katy) Happy early birthday to you!
We have lots of Planet in as always and the gabardine is especially good this time of year unless it is a day like today: 95 in September. What happened to that in August? Their sweaters could not be better.
