How is everyone? It has been awhile. Not because I haven’t wanted to email you but we have been so busy that I have not had a minute. So thank you all so much for shopping and being part of the most fun store ever. Or should I say stores now that we have three? Maybe we’ll open more if another tenant on the first floor moves. Then I will just move a cot in here!
Before I forget, mark your calendars for the FALL Planet show. Leslie will be here on Wednesday, August 5th and Thursday, August 6th. ALSO BIG NEWS: we are getting a shipment today of Planet pieces that are not on the line or were design samples or were discontinued. Or something. So I am excited to see what they sent. For the most part they are pieces we have not seen. As soon as I get to the store today I will get them up and into the Planet store.
Another interesting thing is that Jet, who makes the dancing ball necklace, has made a bracelet with the magnetic closing so if you want a longer necklace and have a magnetic closing on the necklace, you can put them together. Most of you, including me, have just the pull on necklace so if you want the longer one or you want to have the option of a bracelet, I am going to gift mine to someone and get the new ones. I have them on order and will let you know when they arrive. If you want me to reserve you a necklace and a bracelet email me and I will.
SALE SALE SALE! Spring and summer pieces are in the U7 TOO store and are on sale at 30% off. Every line we carry has something including a few Ray Harris dresses and a few pieces of Anett Rostel so if you have wanted something, now is the time before the sizes run out. We even have a few pairs of Rundholz shoes. All the jewelry, scarves and some handbags are 20% off except Annemieke, Jet, the studded handbags, and the nylon bags. Which leaves everything else.
We are going to keep the Dress to Kill for one more week because Jane is traveling next week. If you missed it, now is your last chance to see it. There are some very interesting pieces and some colorful ones for summer. Or does summer seem like it is already over?
We are closed on Saturday for July 4th but we are here the following Monday although I think that is considered a Federal holiday. Of course in retail there is no such thing as a Federal holiday.
Congrats to the Supreme Court for being on the right side of history today. Very good.
My friend sent me a picture from 1st grade so I have to share this picture with you because this outfit is so awesome. I get no credit for it. Obviously my mother put me in it. The same woman who put me in glasses that were pink with silver dots and were, what shall I say, HIDEOUS? But that was in third grade. In first grade she was doing just fine!!
Check out the trim on this sweater. And the SKINNY belt. In the full picture you can see a little bracelet too. And how about those curls in the back? Mom, you rock!
Have a great weekend,
Ricki
