It seems as if everyone who is coming in this week needs a dress for a party or a wedding so here are some pictures from our beautiful dress collection. We have lots of great dresses from all of our designers with some of them very casual for running errands to dresses for work and dresses for the fanciest of affairs. Or an affair. Just kidding. Although you never know when you are going to meet someone!!

We have some pieces on sale for 20% off in case you have not been in the store in a while. And lots of jewelry and handbags for 50% off.
Summer Planet is going out the door so if you still need a great sweater to wear on freezing cold airplanes and Amtrak, we have them! I love this tennis sweater and we also have it in white with navy and white with black so a little more dramatic although the cream is quite pretty. Don’t forget, the Planet trunk show is August 3rd and 4th.

I learned a great little tip from Ray Harris this week. If you get any of his dresses dirty or stained you can use SHAMPOO to wash them and the stains will come out. How great is that little tip? You can thank him when he comes September 22-24. (Mark that down)
We have FABULOUS new earrings from Sissy Yates in the store that are PERFECT for this summer. Here are a few and remember, because Sissy lives here, we can get just about any style in any color you may want.

Speaking of jewelry, we are putting in a huge order for more Annemieke necklaces. If there are any you want let me know TODAY as I have to send the order in by 6 tonight so she can start working on it. Especially if you want a tiny dot in a mix of colors she may not make but can do especially for you.
It is time to vote in DC today and since this is the last primary the national campaigns for our House, Senate and White House are about to start in full force. There are two fundraisers on the books already for two women running for the Senate so I said I would pass them along. I think the more women Hillary has to work with the better off the country will be. (I love you my Republican customers, don’t forget that.)
The actual invitations were much nicer than the versions below but they were embedded so we couldn’t copy them exactly.

Candidate for U.S. Senate, North CarolinaDeborah Ross has dedicated her career to helping people get ahead. In the North Carolina General Assembly, she worked tirelessly to improve North Carolina’s economy and give the state’s working families a fair shot by fighting to strengthen small businesses, increasing access to educational opportunity, and protecting victims of domestic violence. As an attorney, she fought to preserve individual rights and most recently worked to ensure high quality public transit in her community. Now running for the US Senate, against one of the most vulnerable incumbent Senators, Deborah is the committed leader we need to create a better future for our families, our schools, and our community.Monday, June 27, 20165:30-7:00 PM Residences at City CenterWashington, DCAddress provided upon RSVP

As I was thinking how to end this little tome I thought there is no happier way than to throw my grandchildren up here! Aren’t grandchildren the best invention?
Here is Dylan and Austin. Guess who didn’t want their picture taken?
