No Snow Day at Upstairs on 7th!

To add to the list of things I disagree with the President about add the weather. Today would have been a snow day in the Obama Administration for sure. I mean will he work on ANYTHING with me? So here I am while all of you are working or playing at home. All alone, poor me. Katy got on a flight from London this morning luckily as her original plane was cancelled and she was afraid she would get stuck there. And by stuck I mean she would have had an extra day in London at the gorgeous home of Ray Harris who was set to rescue her as her Soho House hotel was sold out for tonight due to so many people being stuck there. She is on her way and yet, I am still alone!!

BUT I am surrounded by lots of great clothes and beautiful jewelry so it is not a bad view. More about that later.

Ok, people next week is our fundraiser for DC Central Kitchen and Barbara McConagha, our partner in this event, has way more people than Upstairs on 7th does so we need some more RSVP’s. (We are very competitive you see.) Someone said there is some confusion as to where the event is. It is HERE at the store next Wednesday night. We are going to have great food and drinks and 15% of anything you buy will go to this amazing provider of jobs to parolees and food to needy kids. They serve 5,000 good meals a day and since the President is getting rid of the Hungry Kid Act there are going to be a lot more kids that will need nutritious meals, so they need all the money they can get. You can RSVP to me or to Barbara as listed on the invitation. PLEASE COME. Ok, yes I am begging because look at this little boy on the invitation. We cannot deny him a good nutritious meal. Can we? I say NO! Stop reading, RSVP and continue! This is the perfect event to bring a friend to as well!
