We ARE open this Monday, Veterans Day from 11-6. You have to enter on the street side as the building is closed. If you want to get in through the main doors, just call and we will come and let you in. Remember for Uber you want to put our address in as 1299 E Street NW and for metro get off at the Metro Center stop and exit on the F and 12th Street side. Walk one block down to E and you are here.
Thanksgiving weekend we are closed. IF you have out of town guests stop by on Wednesday OR if you want to stop in on Sunday, let us know and we will meet you here. We hope you have a fantastic Thanksgiving visiting with friends and family.
December 3rd, is our annual holiday party from 5-7. We love to have it early before everyone gets too busy.
In December we are OPEN on Sundays and every day until and including December 24th. Our hours will be 11-6 Monday through Friday and 12-5 on Saturdays and Sundays.
We hope everyone that came for our conversation with April Ryan had a great time. She could not have been more interesting. And she loved our new rings! You can special order colors and the band comes in silver or gold.
Don’t forget we got more dancing ball necklaces. You won’t believe how many people will stop to talk to you when you are wearing it.
Now that the weather is getting a little cooler you might want to stop by and see our coats. There are some fabulous ones. I am wearing this one today from Rundholz but I am wearing it as an inside jacket. I have worn it to death already I love it so much and next season, green in all its shades, is the new black. Although who are we kidding: black is always the new black.

Do NOT miss the Rachel Whiteread exhibit at the National Gallery of Art. It is AMAZING. There is a wonderful movie that you should watch before you go into the galleries to see the exhibit as you will enjoy it more and understand it better. This is really not to be missed and goes through January.

The election is over and with that goes the political ads, thank goodness! The best news coming out of yesterday is that ONE HUNDRED TENWOMEN are going to the House and Senate. Let’s face it: women deserve an equal opportunity to be represented in the Congress. And who among us does not agree that women are more likely to compromise? Women have girlfriends all their lives because we know the importance of having them in the good times and the bad. The women in Congress become friends because that is what we do. You always find a way to compromise with your friends and we need more of that. Women will lead the way. Or they should.
