Kedem Sasson is here and Jane Mohr of Dress to Kill is coming to Upstairs on 7th!

Kedem Sasson is in the store and there are dots and stripes for days!!
We didn’t buy lots of styles but what we bought we love.  Some of them can be turned inside out so that you have black dots on one side but white dots on the other. For those of you who like his clothes but find they are too big, we have his other line Amma that runs much smaller so there is something for everyone from Kedem, one of our original designers.

Please note there is a change to the Dress to Kill Trunk show.  Jane will be here on THURSDAY, April 4th, FRIDAY, April 5th and SATURDAY, April 6th.  We will have the stock that you can buy this Friday and more next week so if you can’t get to the show you can at least see all the spring and summer and you don’t have to order them. Just try them on and go!

For those of you who love the Dress to Kill sleeveless jumper we got it in black with white pin dots.  And in floral as well.

We are having another Planet trunk show On May 9th and 10th and Leslie will bring all the linen in all the colors and styles and a preview of fall which you will love.  Some of the sweaters are getting even smaller than some of the ones they did this season so they are trying their best to appeal to everyone.  The colors for fall are deep plum, scarlet, nickel, dark teal, and the rest shown here: a palette that so many people look good in.

You can’t tell in this picture that this sweater is silver and shimmers but it does and it is a little smaller than some of Planet’s other sweaters.  Silver and gold in foil for shoes, accessories and clothes is really big this season and into next as well.

See, silver shoes. For fall we got handbags in gold or silver too. Speaking of handbags here are two really beautiful OAD handbags, perfect for spring.

And this one is fantastic IF you go to a football game or concert in any NFL stadium as Katy and I found out the hard way:

It seems that you are not allowed to bring a purse, backpack, or wallet into any NFL stadium in this country even if you are going to a concert that are bigger than 4×6 inches.  We went to the Taylor Swift concert last summer and we were told we had to throw our handbags away if we wanted to get in.  Even our WALLETS were too big!  This poor little 8 year old girl from North Carolina who was there with her mother was near hysterical as you can imagine.  When we realized we were not 8, we got on the metro, went to Tosca and had a drink! But NOW, we can carry these tiny NFL 3×3 inch approved cross body bags from OAD which we have in different colors. See, lesson learned. Problem solved.

Hope everyone has a great week and if you are downtown be sure to visit!
