Upstairs on 7th: It’s not over yet!

I started the last email with the question “Is it over yet?” and of course I can answer that it is not, and I am pretty sure it won’t be until the end of May if then. Although I am praying it is sooner. What do you think?
How are you keeping busy? From what you have emailed us we are pretty sure we are all living in the cleanest and most organized homes in the world. Some of you are using the time to learn a new language, baking and putting photos in your iPhone albums.  Some of you are reading more, playing virtual mahjong and getting in touch with people that you have not spoken to in years.  Just about all of you, like us, are staying home most of the time and that is a good thing. We have not heard that any of you have the virus and we are most thankful for that.  We know some of you have doctors and nurses in your families and we are hoping your loved ones are safe.  They are true heroes. We also know that you are sending us hysterical memes and videos but this is my personal favorite so far:

Ray is busy making your special orders and will be sending out two boxes on Tuesday.  He is also making masks!! He will be sending them on Tuesday also but I have been using one of his funnel neck pieces that we have in lots of colors and can also be used as a turtleneck when this is over so it is dual purpose!
And here is Ray:
Speaking of Ray our friend got all dressed up for Easter all in Ray and looking gorgeous!
We love her sneakers!  And the other day to work at home she wore this:
Since we had to cancel the fall Planet trunk show we put all the styles on our site and below are the new fall colors.  While the color chart is for the knits, they used these colors throughout the collection so while they may differ a bit from fabric to fabric, you can pretty much see what the colors are. The lagoon is particularly beautiful and the raison is a very deep purple, almost an eggplant. If you need any help, just email or call.  You can order now as the new collection will be in their warehouse ready to ship very soon.
One of the things I am doing is filling out the Estate of Mine Organizer so that if anything were to happen to me my family will know all of my passwords, my bank accounts, my insurance policies and where to find every important paper including tax information and my will. They will also know that Katy DOES get the ring! It seems this is more important than ever because if God forbid any of us gets this virus you cannot see or talk to your family if you are in the icu. It is extremely detailed and time consuming but I have to admit it gives me piece of mind that if something should happen, everything will be done the way I want and my family will have this book with everything written down (you can also do it on your computer) with all my information and passwords so they will not have the added grief of needing to get something and not being able to.  If you want this system Robyn and Marilee are still giving our customers a discount and you can email them at: estateofmineorganizers@gmail.com. It seems almost like a sign that they turned out to be our last conversation of this season ALTHOUGH we are hopeful that we will be able to reschedule our speakers that we had for April, May and June! Just let them know you are one of our customers or readers.  They can send them anywhere in the country.
I do go into the store once a week to pick up the mail and special orders that continue to arrive, and to send out gifts that some of you have needed. If there is something you need or want just let me know by email and I can let you know when I am going in.
I finished all three seasons of Ozark and if you like murder, this is the series for you! The twist at the end is so fantastic it is worth watching all of it for just that. For those of you who have seen it, did you see that coming?
I also watched Unorthodox which is only four episodes but very good. The making of it is also shown and it is very interesting. What goes into costumes is always so fascinating.
If you didn’t see SNL Home Edition on Saturday night watch it on demand. Kate McKinnon doing RBG’s workout is the best part of all.  That one piece might be on Youtube if you don’t want to watch the whole program.  There are many Broadway actors doing all kinds of great events online and some of them participated in Saturday Night Seder.  It was really good and I think you can also see that on YouTube.  Which begs the question: what did we do before we had Youtube? Feel free to send us suggestions as we are in for the long haul.
Stay home, stay safe, stay well.  We miss you to pieces.
