Upstairs on 7th: Last Call for Dress to Kill, Q & A for Facebook Live and More!

Happy Wednesday Everyone!
We hope you are all having a good start to your week. If you saw our Facebook Live on Monday you may have thought that we were a little bit on each other’s nerves. Be rest assured that we were (ha!) but that all is well over here. Nothing that an Aperol Spritz in a pouch (definitely a top ten of Covid perks: cocktail delivery!) and having all the boards come off of our windows couldn’t fix. The truth is, we love playing up our annoyed with each other days because they are few and far between. We actually feel super fortunate to get to be in each other’s bubble during the pandemic!
We can’t reiterate enough how fortunate we are to still be here, but with that said, please come visit and buy the sale. It has to go away because let’s face it, we loved it when we chose it, but now we would love it way more if you chose it for yourself. Our sale items are now 50-70% off, so there are lots of deals to be had!
If you’ve ever wanted Rundholz, Ray and Planet at 50-60% now is your chance. It rarely happens (this might be another thing to add to your Covid top ten perks list!)
Spring is right around the corner. We’re starting to hear from our designers about setting up our appointments to buy for next fall/winter (can you believe it?! Neither can we!) which means they will have our spring orders any minute now. We can’t wait for spring to arrive because we can’t remember for the life of us what we bought!
For those of you who may have missed any recent communication, Annemieke is already shipping spring and we have already placed three reorders for her batik necklaces. If you haven’t seen them, here is a close-up of one so that you can appreciate how pretty they are.
We thought you might also like to see the new Annemieke necklaces with Ray Harris because, as always, they look fantastic together and just to give you an idea of the Ray colors we still have in stock, we’ve included a peek at that, too. We are going to have another Ray Harris trunk show soon. Ray has just finished all of his special orders and is gearing up to make some exclusive Upstairs on 7th items for us for the next show. It is always so interesting to see what inspires him.
For those of you who requested the Dress to Kill linesheets but have not placed your orders yet, please do so as soon as possible. We want to make sure to secure fabric for the pieces you’d like to have. Please don’t hesitate to email U7wardrobe@gmail.com if you have any questions. We are more than happy to help.
We thought we would use today’s Facebook Live to answer all of your burning questions! If you have one, email it to U7wardrobe@gmail.com and we will answer as many of them as we can. If there is something you want to see, something you’d like to know about a designer, questions about the store, etc., we would love to show/tell/answer you. We’ll go live at 3pm. One of the inspirations for this Q&A is Katy’s love of watching Johnny Weir conduct his Q&A which he calls “qua”. He does this on Instagram Stories every Sunday and he is in the middle of a big remodel on his first (GORGEOUS) home, he is incredibly knowledgeable about fashion and quite funny. It always puts a smile on Katy’s face.
Putting a smile on both of our faces is Call My Agent on Netflix (thank you Nancy!) Besides being a great premise and well-acted, it is such a love letter to Paris. Never has morning coffee in a cafe looked so pleasant. Also, did anyone see Paint with John on HBO last week? What did you think of it? Katy can’t decide if she loved it or not. Did you?
Before we leave you, here are our favorite funny memes for the week. There may have been some of our own in this email. Did you catch them? If you didn’t you may want to scroll up and look a little harder. 😉
Have a great rest of the week everyone! Come visit us and buy some sale! We’re here Thursday and Friday 11-5-ish and by appointment on Saturday.
See you on Facebook Live later today and stay safe,
Ricki and Katy
