Rundholz is Here! Enough Said!

Hi Everyone!
Happy Wednesday!
We’re really happy because the first big shipment of Rundholz is here!
Okay, that’s all she wrote.
Really. That’s all there is, because are you really going to read anything more before dropping everything and coming to visit or picking up the phone?
Just kidding…there are some really carefully crafted words below, so hang in there with us and then come visit or call.
Here are some pictures of the collection! If we do say so ourselves we did really well considering we bought this season via Zoom and photos. Good thing, because of course we are currently buying our next season that way, too.
This sweater comes in orange, blue and black too!
We are still waiting for our box of hats to arrive from Ray. Weather and UPS being overwhelmed do not an on time arrival make! We promise we will let you know as soon as the hats and the samples of the pin and purse arrive. Ray is also currently in his workroom making a new capsule collection for our next Zoom trunk show with him, so hang tight!
We’re also working on setting up another Annemieke trunk show! She is going to show new colors of her batik necklaces and some new creations. We’ll let you know when we have a date, but probably in a few weeks. We love seeing all of you and we love seeing Annemieke so it’s a win win. In the meantime, here is a photo of the batik necklaces we currently have in stock.
Sale continues, so don’t forget that there are lots of great deals to be had. 60%-80% off most clothing! 60% off jewelry! 50% off most gifts! Our Covid loss is your Covid gain!
One of our very creative customers, Ann Carr, has a new book out and we are in it!! This tale about Covid is available at the store or through Amazon. It is a very fun book and we are so happy to be in it!
Okay, time for a laugh! Is this your favorite part of our email every week?
Once again The Washington Post has published the winning submissions to its yearly neologism contest, in which readers are asked to supply alternative meanings for common words.
The winners are:
Coffee (n.), the person upon whom one coughs.
Flabbergasted (adj.), appalled over how much weight you have gained.
Abdicate (v.), to give up all hope of ever having a flat stomach.
Esplanade (v.), to attempt an explanation while drunk.
Negligent (adj.), describes a condition in which you absentmindedly answer the door in your nightgown.
Gargoyle, olive-flavored mouthwash.
Flatulence (n.), emergency vehicle that picks you up after you are run over by a steamroller.
Balderdash (n.), a rapidly receding hairline.
Oyster (n.), a person who sprinkles his conversation with Yiddishisms.
Frisbeetarianism (n.), (back by popular demand): The belief that, when you die, your soul flies up onto the roof and gets stuck there.
The Washington Post’s Style Invitational also asked readers to take any word from the dictionary, alter it by adding, subtracting, or changing one letter, and supply a new definition.
The winners are:
Bozone (n.): The substance surrounding stupid people that stops bright ideas from penetrating. The bozone layer, unfortunately, shows little sign of breaking down in the near future.
Cashtration (n.): The act of buying a house, which renders the subject financially impotent for an indefinite period.
Sarchasm (n): The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person who doesn’t get it.
Inoculatte (v): To take coffee intravenously when you are running late.
Osteopornosis (n): A degenerate disease. (This one got extra credit.)
Karmageddon (n): It’s like, when everybody is sending off all these Really bad vibes, right? And then, like, the Earth explodes and it’s like, a serious bummer.
Glibido (v): All talk and no action.
Arachnoleptic fit (n.): The frantic dance performed just after you’ve accidentally walked through a spider web.
Caterpallor (n.): The color you turn after finding half a grub in the fruit you’re eating.
We’ll be on Facebook Live at 3pm today to show you some more pieces of the new Rundholz collection. Hope to see you there!
Have a great rest of the week everyone! Come visit us! We’re here Thursday and Friday 11-5-ish and Saturday by appointment.
See you soon and stay safe,
Ricki and Katy
