Upstairs on 7th: Christmas Time is Here!

Hi everyone!
Signs that it is nearly Christmas:
  • We have a lot (maybe too many, on second thought there is no such thing as too many) baked goods in the store.
  • We’ve been eating cheese and crackers and drinking champagne in the middle of the day.
  • It is no longer 60 degrees in DC.
  • We have seen a lot of husbands and boyfriends in recent days.
  • We’re doing all of our end of the year paperwork and accounting (everything above is far more exciting than this. Especially the baked goods, cheese and champagne.)
  • We have started to buy fall merchandise for next year and gotten notice that some of our spring is on the way (by the way, this just adds to our never really knowing which month it is, or which year for that matter!)
  • We are both ready to take a few days off! Even Ricki, who has WAY more energy than I do, is ready for a little holiday break.
With this in mind, we will be open today and tomorrow from 11-5 and from 11-4 on Christmas Eve and then we will be closed until Tuesday, December 28th.
We will be open on Tuesday December 28th and Wednesday 29th from 11-5.
We will then be closed December 30th-January 2nd.
We will reopen on January 3rd 11-5 and resume our regular hours.
You still have time for last minute gifts and we have lots of wonderful ones! If you are local, come visit! We’ll share our champagne!
If you are in DC, Maryland or Virginia, UPS will usually arrive to you in a day, so we can help if you missed someone on your list or want to buy yourself a present!
We’re always happy to send out a gift certificate in any amount via email or mail and we are here to FaceTime with you through Christmas Eve.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the Planet Trunk Show. We can’t wait for you to see the spring collection. There are so many beautiful and practical pieces to refresh your wardrobe for spring. The whole collection will be here on January 21st and January 22nd.
And now for some Christmas themed memes:
As we close out 2021, we are ever so grateful for you and wish those of you who celebrate Christmas, a happy one, and those who don’t, a full belly of egg rolls and movie theater popcorn (even if you have to make it at home this year).
We appreciate you so much!
Ricki and Katy
