Upstairs on 7th: Lots of Visitors on the Horizon and New Merchandise!

Hi Everyone!

The biggest news in our little store this week is that we have a date for our Spring/Summer Ray Harris Trunk Show! You’re all ready to think about next summer, right?! We aren’t entirely either, but the life of a buyer isn’t as glamorous as everyone thinks and one of the trickiest parts is putting yourself in the mindset of weather that you are sick of getting dressed for, to buy more clothes for weather that your future self will dread!

What we NEVER dread is a visit from designer Ray Harris or seeing his new collection, so start thinking about your spring and summer weddings, trips, errands to the grocery store, and what you might need for all of them. Make a list, and then come visit Ray and us on November 8th-11th.

We’ll have lots more details on exact times in the coming weeks, but if you are coming from out of town (as many of you do,) we wanted to give you lots of time to book flights and accommodations so that you can join us for our 25th or 26th Ray show (something like that. We’ve lost count. Something about some lost years around 2020).

We received some beautiful pieces from Megan Park and Rundholz this week (so far…) There are still lots of shipments in the purgatory that is customs, but here are some of the lush silk velvet pieces and raccoon sweaters that have made it through the system and are here for the taking.

Thankfully Annemieke was able to get out of California post earthquake and hurricane so that she can join us in a couple of weeks!

A reminder that she will be in the house on September 8th and 9th. If Annemieke, jewels, prosecco, cheese, and cookies don’t tempt you to join us, our powers of persuasion may be fading.

We really hope to see you! It is always a party when she’s here.

We had planned to take down most of the sale this week, but if you haven’t had a chance to shop it, it’s your lucky day because boxes being stuck in customs means that we still have space for it. Items are marked down 70%+ off, 50% off of spring/summer scarves and 30% off bags and most of the gifts/stationery.
