Those poor people in Joplin. So now I don’t care if it rains here everyday. Very scary, very sad.

Tomorrow from 5-8 we are having a spectacular jewelry show with brand new pieces from Barbara de Jounge, Sissy Yates, Carolyn Zapp, Couture Saboteur, Jesse Walker, and Kathleen Tucci (rubber jewelry that was My Sister’s Art until the sisters had a freaking war of words) that I have not even seen PLUS all the Manouk, Angela Caputi, Belart and Crea will be here. There will also be some jewelry on SALE at 50% off! AND the sale will benefit Jumpstart Jubilee, a non profit 24/7 daycare center for women who desperately need our help. Some of them work the third shift so without Jumpstart, where would they be able to take their kids?
Champagne is already on ice so stop in. If you come after 6:30 use the security door on 12th and F or come in the back door of Potbelly on 11th and F. Can’t wait to see everyone. Bring your friends from work especially if they have not been here before.
Meet my new intern this summer, Sakishia, who will be starting her senior year at the University of Maryland IF she passes this internship, and you all know how hard a grader I am.
There are still some summer dresses left and I got in the most fabulous dress from Ray Harris in red, gray, black and a deep rust. WIth tights or just a belt, they have never been in the store more than a week so most of you have not seen it!
