Ok, ok, it IS hot enough. If you did not buy any sleeveless dresses this would be the week to do it before the few I have left are gone. For those of us, and I AM one too, who did NOT do exercises a la Michele on our arms, cardigans will cover arms and it is freezing everywhere you go inside. So sleeveless is the way to go when you are outside in this unbearable heat. Pray for rain. But not so heavy that Pepco goes out. In fact, the other day I was coming home and saw a Pepco truck and I swear it scared me to death. Worse than a black cat walking in front of you. Can you imagine no air conditioning in this weather? If I was smart I would delete these thoughts as who needs to put this out there for Pepco to go out?<\/p>\n
Below is just one shelf of great accessories that are here. I have kept the rubber jewelry from Kathleen Tucci and will through Saturday if anyone still has not been able to get here. These bags, jewelry, and scarves make really good graduation gifts, especially the Harper Big Buddha lightweight summer briefcase for those kids lucky enough to have a job! I am also getting more Spirithouse today because there were so many styles that I could not get so now that I have some room I thought I would add in a few new pieces for those of you who love the line. It should be here by 4 as it is coming via Fedex and they are here around that time. I also got in more of the great watch that we all love in black and white. Another great gift at 100 dollars. For you to give or treat yourself to if you do not have it yet. You can actually see the dial.<\/p>\n
This week I should be receiving some bracelets that say I AM SOMEBODY that will help fund a project in Oklahoma to train teachers in that state about bullying. It was before their state senate but a woman senator got it defeated since she felt that training teachers to look out for and help with bullying would be overreaching their jobs. It was presented by parents who lost their 11 year old son when he confronted his bully after the school failed to do it, and was suspended for doing so. He went home and shot himself to death. His name was Ty Field-Smalley. They are 3 dollars but you can just pay what you can and I hope that you will give it to a child so that we can stop this epidemic on the internet as well as in school. Ty was an only child. <\/p>\n
I AM OPEN THIS SATURDAY from 12-5 and so is Gallery 555 and we both have champagne so come down and enjoy fashion and art all in one cool building. <\/p>\n
If anyone has seen any good movies lately let me know because we have not gone in ages as there did not seem like any good ones to see. <\/p>\n
