If you have been waiting for Labor Day to come shopping, your long wait is over which also means the summer is basically over too. Have you noticed that it is now getting dark at 8 instead of 9 at night? Before we know it, daylight savings time will be over and Christmas will be here! But I have gotten ahead of myself!! And depressed myself too I might add.
I would say that we have received 90% of what we are going to get for fall and we have been so busy that when the last bit of Rundholz came in last week I didn’t have a minute to write an email! SO, all the Rundholz is here, the Kedem Sasson is here, the Niche, Sun Kim, Comfy, Jason, Planet, Heydari, Ray Harris, Anarkh, Ivan Grundahl, Spirithouse, Elemente Clemente, and every other line is too EXCEPT Moyuru, Ralston, and Anett Rostel but they will be here in about a week. As soon as they get here I will let you know. As you know I only buy one or two of each size so if there is something you are looking for I would come as soon as you can. Especially because we cannot get reorders for the most part. Here are some pictures of Rundholz including the polka dot shoes.

I am putting my striped Comfy tee shirt under it. Isn’t it a great jacket? His clothes look fantastic this fall by the way. Ivan Grundahl also lasts forever so they are very good investments. Especially if you like to keep things forever.
Before I forget there is an Arche trunk show on Sunday, September 20that the Comfort Shoes on Connecticut Avenue. I never knew there was such a thing as a trunk show for shoes but there is and you can have some aspects of the shoe custom made. The address is 1625 Connecticut (because you know there are two right across from each other) and you can ask for Ruth Berg. For time call 202-667-5789.
And after you have your new cool shoes don’t forget to come to the Ray Harris and Annemieke show here on the 24th, 25th and the 26th of September. It is going to be fabulous!!
We got this Planet sweater back in the store and it is really great because it looks like a really good quality sweatshirt. I really like this piece! And the sock pants are amazing. We have sold 25 pairs of them, our all time best Planet pant. I am not showing a picture of it because it doesn’t photograph as good as it looks and you really need to try it on. Just about everyone who has tried it on has bought it, it is that good.
This dress/coat from Elemente Clemente is made of very beautiful fabric. I like when you can take a men’s fabric and make it into a good piece for serious businesswomen. But put a red scarf on it and it becomes a really feminine piece.
And yes, you eagle eyes, that is a felt necklace from Barbara de Jounge. If anyone wants one I can order them from her assistant. They come in a zillion colors too.
We have gotten in lots of new coats, too many to put on here but they are waiting for good homes and it WILL get cold out I am afraid. Be prepared to go into it with a beautiful down, faux leather, knit, or faux fur coat from Rundholz, Planet, Etna Maar or Anett Rostel among others. Now is the time to get a coat so beautiful that Dress to Kill has named theirs “awesome coat” as the style.
