It still feels like the dog days of summer, so I can’t wait to tell you about the coats that just arrived! Anett Rostel did a beautiful take on a down coat that we have been waiting for since we ordered it in February. It is just as stunning as we remembered it and perfect for this balmy weather. While you may not get to wear it now, there is only one of each size, so if you are looking for a gussied up version of the always fashionable puffer coat, now is the time. We’ll pump up the air conditioning while you take it, or any of our other wonderful coats, for a spin!
We also received Anett’s fall and holiday dresses. As always, we had a very difficult time deciding which to choose as everything she designs is masterful in its construction and the fabrics are sublime. These are no exception. Pictures will never do them justice; you will have to visit to see for yourself.
We received a really special package yesterday from Norma Kamali that I am SO excited about. Have you seen Norma lately? She looks so incredible and thankfully she is sharing her beauty secrets. Introducing Normalife! Normalife is the wellness arm of Norma Kamali and the first products are a four-step face and body system: Clean, Smooth, Glow and Soft. My Mama and I were slathering ourselves with all of them when we visited the showroom in September and we thought you’d like to, too. They smell and feel incredible and they are low-maintenance with clean ingredients. I think you’ll love them. You may want to get here before I use all of the Soft moisturizer myself.
Holiday gifts are starting to arrive and will continue to through the end of October. We tried to account for all of your gifting needs this year, so there is really something for all of your friends and family. We received great travel pouches and velvet slippers from Puebco this week and our first shipment of Treuleben is here. Treuleben is a really special stationery company from Germany that makes planners, passport and business card holders in gorgeous colors with absolutely stunning packaging. If you have someone on your list that is difficult to shop for these are just the thing. We curated a group of art and fashion books for gift-giving this holiday season, are stocking up on your favorite Christian Lacroix and Pepin Press items, have a beautiful stationery selection from Italy en route, candles, Japanese pencil sets and bookmarks, and these magical reusable shopping bags. Shall I go on? Doesn’t everyone need coasters that have mistaken song lyrics on them? You will want to come read them for a laugh, I promise. This is all to say that everyday is already like Christmas here and you don’t want to miss out. I’ll keep you updated as items come in.
