What a difference a week makes! There is a chill in the air. There is no humidity. Jacket, sweater and coat weather! Good hair days weather!
A few things to tell you about as we head into the weekend.
Tomorrow we will receive the spring/summer 2020 line from Replika. For those of you who were Ivan Grundhal enthusiasts, this line is designed by Ivan’s best friend and longtime collaborator, Soha. She has done a wonderful job of incorporating some Ivan-ness into Replika while adding her own spin. She has created a really beautiful collection. It is easy to wear with lots of really special fabrics and we wanted you to have a chance to see it for yourself. In particular you will all love this little reversible bronze and muslin jacket. We don’t have a picture, so you’ll have to come see it! Metallics are sticking around for spring and this is a piece that will outlast the trend and be in your closet for the long haul. The samples will be here through the 17th. Don’t miss out!
We just received a nice selection of Annemieke’s newest collection. We have some of the usual suspects in stunning new colors and also brought the glitter pieces back for some holiday bling. We also have some new neckpieces she made with cashmere pieces and large 100% cotton tags for a little levity. Who doesn’t need a little bling, a little cashmere and lots of levity?
We also got a small selection of Sugar Candy Mountain t-shirts. This is a new line for us and while we bought very few styles the ones we did choose fill a hole we were missing: thick cotton t’s with a good amount of stretch and a finished collar. They’re available in cream and black.
Lots of you have stopped in for Normalife! We have a few pieces left of each face and body product and we haven’t used the whole tester set up quite yet, but we’re working on it. Come stop us!
Gorgeous colored pencils and paper from Japan have arrived. This mini pencil set made us so happy when we found it in NYC and even happier when we opened it here. If you or someone you love, loves to color or appreciates great design this makes a very special gift. There is a larger set, too, if mini is not your cup of tea.
We also have incredible scarves from Epice. Some of you have a collection of them from past seasons. Some of you need to start your collections. Get to it. Here are some close-ups to entice you! Aren’t they gorgeous? And so good mixed with Annemieke.
One last thing about arrivals. Some of you have been asking for dressier clutches, so we have some! This is a favorite. So elegant.
